Sean Turrell

I really enjoy coming to the Merchant Street Art Gallery. I like to talk to the people here, meet my friends, learn new art techniques, and just make art pieces. This new knowledge allows me to draw and create from what I see and what I have learned.

I have particularly enjoyed talking to people and finding out more about their lives. This past summer I really enjoyed our time working with the residents at Heritage Village, a senior living community in the heart of Kankakee. I liked talking to the people there, making new friends and working on our creations for the art show at the end of the summer. Learn more about the show click here.

More recently, I have also enjoyed working on the paintings for the ComEd project. I learned a lot and enjoyed the time I got to spend with my friends while we worked. I look forward to coming to the gallery and love all the opportunities we have here to grow.
