What We Do
Events
Merchant Street Gallery hosts a wide variety of community events, from free events like hangouts and art shows to paid ones like our auctions and fundraisers. We also set up booths at other events like the Kankakee Farmers Market.
Education
The Gallery is dedicated to teaching people about neurodivergences such as Autism, ADHD, and more.
Vocational Opportunities
We offer a variety of vocational opportunities for autistic people. From hosting events to working with IT, we allow people on the spectrum to prepare for the workforce
Get Involved
Merchant St. Art Gallery brings the neurodivergent and neurotypical communities of Kankakee, IL together by providing a welcoming space for artists and audiences to mingle, form friendships, and bond over art.
